Default Pressure Cooker

Okay, so the point of this build is to put insane amounts of pressure on the healers by smacking EVERYONE in the group around a bit. I'm not talking AoE or whatever, I'm tlaking about tactics like spamming life siphon on everyone, slapping malaise on the monks, etc...

Attributes:
16 blood (sup rune + hat)
10 soul reaping (minor rune)
10 curses (mnior rune)

Skills
Awaken the blood
life transfer
life siphon
shadow strike
deathbane strike(same thing as shadow strike...I phail at names of skills)
Malaise/strip enchament
arcane echo
rez sig

now, in terms of this build, damage doesn't matter, it's all about pressure, and "pressure spikes", so lemme explain the reasoning for the skills and how they work together.

Awaken the blood: increases your ablity to pressure your opponents by increasing the amount of points in both blood and curses.

Life transfer: Think of this as a pressure spike...sure, it doesn't last too long, but it's a spike of -9 degen. Now, what if you used arcane echo and placed LT on a second target, that creates more pressure for the monk to deal with. Add to that the fact that you've already used siphon on at least a few targets, the monks start to worry.

life siphon: Your main source of pressure, by spamming ths on every member of the opposing team, the enemy monks will be pressured, sure they can use HB to counter the degen, but that's only temporary. Also, this'll draw out their hex removal, and since the hexes are not all stacked on one target, it becomes more difficult to remove them.

shadow/deatbane strike: These puppies deal 110 damage each to opponents over half health, so what you're gonna do, along with siphoning every opponent, is spike every opponent with over half health with 110 damage. Having two copies of the same spell (effectively) lets you smack around members of the other team much more aggresively. The monks will be more pressured, combine this with siphon spam, and then a pressure spike of two life transfers (on individual targets), and you have worreid monks.

Malaise: with all the regen you're getting, slap this on the monks/rits/necros, and the team will be even more pressured as a whole, drawng out more hex removal, so now the monks have a MUCH harder taime keeping the team alive.

Arcane echo: have fun with LT.

now, this build is better used in situations where there are more things dying...if you wanna run this build w/out soul reaping, replace life transfer with mantra of recall or offering of blood making you less dependant upon falling bodies.

I think this is a decent idea, but I'd really like suggestions and whatnot on this...hell, if you think it sucks, just say so, but no need to call me a n00b or anything :P.

Only problem I see with this build is that it is a pressure build that relies on people dying. It kinda contradicts itself. The energy costs are too intense to manage without a powerful energy management elite like you said.

A wither necro has way too many more pros versus this build, rendering yours sort of useless. With wither, the pressure applied to monks is quite intense, since they can regain no energy unless they remove the hexes (weapon swapping shouldn't really be a big deal unless your fighting a high ranked guild).

Also consider that bleeding is much more cost efficient when compared to life siphon. Your build is a good idea, but it just needs some more pressure, IMO, to push it over what a Wither Necro can do. Those cookie cutters are hard to beat sometimes! :/

edit: Forgot to mention something.

If you are running this build in AB's or something like that, consider using Spoil Victor instead of Life Transfer. When throwing this skill on Monks, it will activate every time they heal someone with less health. It's a skill that's looked down upon by many, but just think of it as a concentrated Spiteful Spirit.

Thanks for the tips, and yeah, I found out that I'm gonna have to replace LT with probably OoB. Which means I can take off echo in favor of some more pressure, dunno what though.

I'm definitely gonna play around with this some more, but for now, I'm gonna stick with mes in PvP until I can actually get this build operational.
